The
Sacred Cycle is a powerful
and transformational body of work.
It speaks to and addresses the core
of what it is to be female. It provides
menstruation workshops for women and
addresses topics such as The Sacred
Feminine, living in harmony with our
menstrual cycle, women's sexuality,
PMS, natural beauty and body image.
The Sacred Cycle offers workshops
for adolescent girls going through
puberty and offers alternative ways
for them to view their bodies as they
go through puberty, as well as providing
ways to celebrate menstruation, particularly
menarche, or their first menstrual
cycle, and is taught by Gina Cloud
in Los Angeles. The Sacred Cycle also
offers a unique workshop for young
girls before puberty, The Sacred Facts
of Life, in which their bodies and
the changes they experience in puberty
are explained in a brand new way.
It covers the mechanics of menstruation,
so that they aren't afraid when the
get their first menstrual cycle, and
provides a forum for them to learn
openly and honestly all the facts
of life, including an explanation
about sex, body changes, differences
between boys and girls, anatomy facts,
how to love their bodies as they change,
how to speak up and out clearly, and
what boundaries are and how to enforce
them. It also includes a workshop
for men approached from a unique perspective
and covers topics such as a woman's
menstrual cycle (menstruation) as
her compass, PMS as a time of healing
in men's relationships with women,
women's sexuality, the sacred feminine,
and lots more...menstruation, menstruation,
menstruation... well, that's just
the beginning. There is so much more
to discover about the beauty and magic
of woman. Menstruation is just the
place we begin. The Sacred Cycle is
about celebrating rather than denigrating
ourselves as women. WE are EXQUISITE.
