Bill of Rights, and an overview and other information about
the field of psychology.
National
Mental Health Association (NMHA) offers dozens of articles
in clearly written format on a variety of mental health issues.

Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) has a good overview
of mental illness, as well as descriptions of the biologically-based
brain disorders.
Mayo
Clinic provides information on mental health, mental illness,
chemical use, treatment, and gaining control of a variety of

Drugs, Alcohol and Medications
National Institute on Drug
Abuse (NIDA) provides information on a variety of drugs,
with sections for parents, teachers, and young people. Also

Council on Alcoholism (ACA) has self-screening tests, information
on alcoholism, DUI, college-age drinking, and links to finding
AA and Al-Anon groups.
Alcoholics
Anonymous provides information about the largest support
and self-treatment group for alcoholics, including an online
version of the AA Big Book. Information in English, Spanish,
and French.
Al-Anon
is a self-help program that helps families and friends of alcoholics
recover from the effects of living with the problem drinking
of a relative or friend.

is a government site that provides information on a variety

Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous
The site for one of the many 12-Step programs, this one regarding
“the destructive consequences of one or more addictive
behaviors related to sex addiction, love addiction, dependency

and emotional anorexia.”

Addiction Screening Test is a tool to help you decide if
you have an internet addiction, and suggests resources to help
you.
