Gili Dekel graduated from Tel Aviv University, Israel in 1991 and moved to Los Angeles soon after. She quickly set to work on obtaining her physical therapy license from the State of California, which she did in 1992. She began her practicing at private outpatient orthopedic clinics. A strong believer in education and staying up-to-date on the latest and greatest in patient care, Gili has completed a wide range of post-graduate classes in various Physical Therapy disciplines.

Through her extensive work experience prior to founding Physicians Choice, Gili knows that quality physical therapy care is hard to find. From poor physical conditions and inadequate equipment to substandard therapeutic skills — she has seen them all – from physical therapists that performs no hands-on treatments and patients who have been on a treatment plan for months without improvement to name a few.

So in 2002 she started Physicians Choice Physical Therapy, a place where patients can experience the ultimate in treatment and where physical therapists provide proper care according to Gili’s exacting standards.
