Who We Are

Bill Robers is a licensed attorney who has been in the private practice of law since 2001. He is licensed in all California State Courts and the Central District of California Federal Court. Prior to forming Robers Management Group, he was a top corporate attorney at the global law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. He has years of experience in sports, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, executive compensation, white collar criminal defense and labor law. He earned his law degree at the University of Minnesota Law School.

Mr. Robers also holds an MBA in marketing and finance from the prestigious Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He is uniquely prepared to represent each client in promoting their individual talent and ability, as well as counseling them on estate planning and investments.

Prior to earning his law degree and his MBA, Mr. Robers worked at the international law firm of Foley & Lardner, where he gained extensive experience in sports law, including representing professional sports teams and leagues in television disputes, facility construction and the implementation of professional seat licenses. He also worked as an associate at a small sports representation firm, where he successfully scouted and recruited clients, identified and procured endorsement opportunities, fashioned incentive clauses in contracts and managed clients' investment portfolios. Mr. Robers has also worked as an athletic manager, a marketing associate and a tutor at both Marquette University and the University of Minnesota athletic departments.

Mr. Robers holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Marquette University, with a double-major in marketing and finance. He is currently qualified as an NCAA and California high school football official and is an active member of the Sports Lawyers Association and Rotary International.
